ML is a community minded individual that annually supports the Toys for Tots drive sponsored by WJMI FM 99.7. ML also conducted a workshop at a Laurel High School to give kids the inside knowledge of the music business. ML also performed at the Mississippi women’s prison system for model inmates. ML recently co-sponsored a fundraiser for Catholic Charities to raise money for the Safe Place Run Away Teen Center. ML was named Person of the Day July 2010 by the Jackson Free Press. ML has placement with Malaco Records recording artist Lil DJ. ML produces Lou Writer Bet 106 & Park's 2010 R&B Male Artist of the Year. Lou Writer Won the competition performing "Aftermath" & “Touch" produced by ML the Truth. "Aftermath" is the #2 most downloaded ringtone on BET. Primestone Media awarded ML the 2007 Best Movie Sound Track Theme Song award for the movie "Ready For Love." ML will release his second project in 2010 entitled "The Truth."
