"the Last" is known as being a rock band from Marseille. The four members Charles (singer,guitarist) Max (guitarist) Mathias (basse) and JP (Drumms) decided to set up the band in june 2004.

Right from their start they seem to stand out and to distinguish themselves; This can be linked to the fact that the members only play their very own compositions.

These compositions are characterized by their frequent changes in rythm and in which we can recognize the multiplicity of their musical influences from english rock (the Beatles, the kinks, the Clash, the Libertines) to psychedelic rock (the Doors, led Zeppelin).

Despite their youth, they are quickly given various possibilities of concerts in Marseille and its area (such as : Le Poste à Galène, l'Intermédiaire,le Korigan, le Balthazar...)
They are also given the opportunity to play with other groups such as The Elderberries.

They record in june 2006 an EP containing four titles under the artistic supervisation of NiKKo, ex guitarist from "Dolly".
Since then , they are on regular basis heard on "le Mouv'" and other local radio sations such as: "Radio Galère"

In June 2007 with the help of the Label Password Records, they record their first album," Beyond good Evil". Their 10 titles are by now available on Itunes,Fnacmusic.com and Virginmega.fr
