John Macdonald is a contemporary composer residing in Perth, Western Australia. He has been writing music over a number of years and is currently preparing new pieces for promotion.

Most of his music is instrumental and falls within the genres of easy listening, classical and contemporary classical, meditation, Celtic, wedding, lullabies and Christmas music.

His work has been featured on local television and can be heard on the Live 365 interner radio network, from his radio station Freedom At Last.
