Renton are one of Poland's best-loved bands. After a few years of honing their songcraft and mastering the art of Making People Dance, Renton release their debut albumTake-off. 13 upbeat, catchy tunes that could do worse than make you dance in front of the mirror in the morning, it’s a landmark record in the history of polish rock music. All songs are written in English albeit in a playful, ironic kind of way. Most of Renton's influences hail from either the UK or the US, but it's clear that Take-off is no senseless imitation.

Renton formed at a Warsaw business school. But instead of choosing a 9 to 5 job they chose to rock'n'roll. A series of well-received gigs and festival appearances ensued, including a performance at Open'er Festival in 2007. Relentlessly championed by Poland's best known radio dj Piotr Stelmach and generating great reviews left and right, Renton are popular with both the critics and the general public.

Artur Rojek, lead singer of the country's best known alternative act Myslovitz and an influential figure in the music business, reviewed the album for Dziennik: ""Out of the ever-growing number of new polish indie bands, Renton play and sound the best. This goes for both their melodies ( see the fabulous This Is Not The End and [current single] Walk Aside) and immaculate production. When I listen to their catchy tunes, which get better with every listen, I'm sure that this album can make it in any Western country"".
