Hello, I'm Paddy, and I write pop songs and love songs. I like a good melody and acapella breakdowns, and like to think I sing from the heart and all that. After many years and many guitar-based bands (including the semi-legendary goth-punk outfit 3 Chords) and acoustic guitar based solo work, I've finally settled on piano-led indie-pop. I still play guitar and some of my songs feature guitar solos, but most of the songs are led by the piano.
I live in Chessington (basically Kingston) but go to Exeter University, where I study for six hours a week, handing in poems and stories which I write anyway as homework. This is also fun. I have a poetry myspace too if you're that way inclined, why not have a look? This means you can normally see me around Kingston (New Slang/New Noise/Banquet Records etc) in the Holidays and Exeter (The Cavern etc) during term time. Do say hello. I'm up for playing anywhere though and love to travel:)

I'm currently working on a number of songs in preparation for going into the studio in September to record my debut album/EP with producer Dan Halliday (Luke Leighfield/Sam Isaac/SH Davidson and the Hardbacks). Dan is a massive deal. This is a massive deal, and I'm very excited. Until then I'll be putting my rough home demos up here for your listening pleasure, and you should hopefully be hearing some right about now. The album will have a full band with lots of great instruments but the demos are piano, vocal and a few extras. You can download them if you like, and listen to them on the way to work. If you want a CD with all the songs on here plus a few more demos then send me a message and I'll send you one for free :)
