CLEARWATER BEACH, FLORIDA SONGWRITER RECOGNIZED BY
INTERNATIONAL CONTEST
Clearwater beach native Sal Belloise recently received the honor of being named Finalist by the Song of the Year (http://www.songoftheyear.com/) songwriting contest. Song of the Year is an international songwriting contest supporting VH-1’s Save the Music Foundation. The Song of the Year judges are some of the biggest names in music including many Grammy Award winners.
Song of the Year is excited to recognize Sal for his exceptional songwriting ability for the song “I Don't Want To Change My Life”. Sal competed against songwriters from all over the world for this honor. When asked what inspired the song Sal commented that “It was a dark subject that needed illuminating. I’ve talked with several battered women who were scarred emotionally deeper than any cuts and bruises.”
Currently Sal Belloise is concentrating on his 2nd release. “I have 13 new songs scheduled to be released next month while I am hoping to go on tour this summer with a national act to promote both albums.”
