From Phoenix, Arizona a professional firefighter, For The Phoenix Fire Dept., writes Country and sings about Life, Love and Every Day happenings
Rollies singing career began in 1996. I would always sing around the fire station while cooking or cleaning. One night the firefighters talked me into entering a talent show at Graham Central Station. I sang El Paso, and was accused of lip-sinking. It was then that that Rollie knew he needed to develop his own style. He Loves Performing His Original Material and Is always searching for a new song! He Has Co-written with several Huge Writers in Country with several .#1 hits. and will write with anyone "cause you never know whos got an original idea"
The following year, Rollie made his debut at Fan Fair in Nashville where he was introduced to and performed with many famous country stars. He was the first country act to ever perform at the newly refurbished Orpheum Theater in downtown Phoenix. opening shows for Johnny Rodriguez and Arizonas own Rex Allen, Jr.
Also in 1997, Rollie was presented with a couple of prestigious awards from the Arizona Country Music Association. He won the Best New Male Vocalist award and the Songwriter of the Year award for his song Middle of a Heartache, co-written by Rose Diehl. Rollie can impersonate almost any singer. Engelbert, Tom Jones, Dean Martin, Merle Haggard, Walter Brennen, and on and on you never know whats coming out of me.. I dont But i like to Have fun with new singers as well as the standards I try to apeal to young and old!
In recent years, Rollie has entertained all over the country with such major acts as Alan Jackson, Sawyer Brown, The Late Chris LeDoux, Steve Holy, Emerson Drive and Trick Pony. He currently tours the country when not recording on selected dates and his Other performances include Performing with Legendary Lynn Anderson Wherever Rollie performs, he is always asked to come back for a return engagement. He has developed a large following throughout the South and western united states. And across the country and internationally. He won first place in the Star Seeker talent show on a Norwegian Cruise Line. A month later, he won two talent shows at the Nashville Palace in Nashville, and was a finalist in the Colgate Country Showdown Arizona. The accolades keep rolling in for this gifted performer. Rollie is also an excellent songwriter with over 200+ songs to his credit. He has over 60 BMI credited works .He recently has been co-writing with some of the top songwriters in Nashville, including Don Goodman, Royce Porter, Anita Cox, Corey Baxter and Pat McGrath. His latest session was recorded at the Sound Kitchen and Love Shack with Jim and Joe also Direct Image and recorded at Makin Music and Hilltop Studios in Nashville He is also a producer with Big Diehl Records (His Own Indy Label) He Performed El Paso For Marty Robbins's Induction Into Arizona Music and Entertainment Hall Of Fame April 2005 A Humbling Great Honor And Was also Named The Discovery Award recipient By music Row Magazines Robert K Oremann He Has A new CD ALWAYS!
