From the first time you hear the unmistakeably rich, resonant voice of Mrs. Money Stax, it becomes clear that a revolutionary, prophetic, and enthralling female emcee, able to dazzle audiences with a mastery of lyricism unmatched by most of her peers is before you. It becomes obvious that the talent possessed by the rapper you're listening to is potentially limitless. It then becomes easy to peg her as one of the rawest, most powerful MCs you'll ever encounter. Impossible to categorize as "good for a girl", Money Stax has grown to be one of the premiere MCs in the indie world, male or female, signed or unsigned, old or new school. From her first controversial poem, printed and distributed to the ENTIRE BODY of Columbia High in her native New Jersey, it was plain to see Money was a brilliant, creative, rebellious force to be reckoned with. From judging freestyle competitions with Erykah Badu, and performing numerous shows opening for artists such as Slick Rick, and Guru, Money is a prolific, multi-faceted artist with a wealth of outlets to shine her light on the hip-hop world. She is recurring on-air personality on KNON 89.3, and currently performs live shows solo, with her husband, "The Rapture" as one half of 'The Co-Op', and with her partner-in-rhyme 'Neeky Devero' as Vicious Cycle, as well as with local underground legend Headkrack of 97.9 The Beat as a member of 'The Boondox' A complete rapper's rapper, she spits bars chock full of enlightening content, equipped with a melodic flow, and vicious delivery, she undoubtedly is an entertainer of the highest caliber. Her message, though delivered in some of the most intricately written rhymes you'll ever hear , is simple; Money Stax music is the voice of the struggle; the voice of the proud black woman powerful in spirit, queen of her castle, and spilling over with positive, enriching life lessons woven into every word. With a catalogue of songs that cover all shades of life's spectrum, from aggressive street anthems showing off lyrical prowess to thought provoking, socially conscious compositions, she challenges the audience to embrace all aspects of their love of hip-hop culture, no matter who you are, where you are from, or what you stand for. Her talents don't stop at performance however, as she is owner of a full color thermal CD/DVD printing & duplication company, and an accomplished freelance graphic designer who does all her own graphic work.The independent spirit also spills into the industry side, with Money and her husband responsible for executive production, art direction, promotion, packaging, marketing, and distribution for their several projects as well as being the brains behind the Speak Up Contest, which is recognized as a monthly event responsible for "saving hip-hop" in the area. The future is already the past. Money Stax is NEXT, and she's worth infinitely more than the value of any dollar.
