Up an coming progressive/melodic metal band Simia Dei [sim – ee – are, day] will be releasing their long awaited CD Noesis, due to be released August, 2009 on the DEAD Famous Records label with distribution through MGM.

Formed in late 2003, Simia Dei is a four piece based in Sydney Australia. Simia Dei have recently been in the studio with ARIA nominated music Producer Greg Stace, fine tuning their already massive sound to produce their long awaited CD Noesis. Drawing inspiration from a variety of genres including a large blend of popular music ranging from heavy metal to emotive melodic rock, Simia Dei manage to churn out an undeniably intense and driving in your face sound.
