The Gone is the solo studio band of Martin Davies, rock n roll bass player,now resident at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool. Inspired by 60's garage, 70's New Wave and the thunderous beat of the Cavern. Lo-fi sun drenched, fuzz toned pop !

I play at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool every weekend with resident band The Shakers..Been there for the last 6 years and love the band and the Cavern . These are my own songs , recorded at home with the main influence being 60's garage, late 70's New Wave, Power pop and 60's-esque flavours of The Kinks, Byrds, Beatles,Who, Stones and I LOVE The Smiths and Johnny Marr. I've just recorded my 4th mini album, 7 Times Gone and do it for fun.
