Sapient Sun is a three-piece alternative rock band based out of Pomona, Ca composed of Ryan Leeds on guitar, Jim Bloodthurst on drums, and Matticus Von Peterkin on bass and vocal duty. The trio bring together their varying influences, from punk to prog, to create a sound both unique yet familiar. Lyrical themes surrounding the occult, hermeticism, and ancient wisdom combine with syncopated rhythms adorned with improvised elements that will certainly open your ears, if not your third eye.
