Native Texan singer/songwriter Jason Sain and his band, the Foolhearted, are based in Branson, MO. Their debut album, 'Dames, Trains, and Tall Texas Tales', was released in 2010 to positive reviews. It blends both the modern and traditional as it drives through songs about lying and cheating, drinking and sinning, and all the terrible things that once made country music wonderful. Part of the underground movement back to the glory days of The Grand Ole Opry, Jason Sain & The Foolhearted firmly believe the most outlaw thing you can do in Nashville these days is play country music.
In addition to guitarist/harmonica/vocalist Sain, the Foolhearted is made up of Heavy T on mandolin & fiddle, Ryan Comer on bass fiddle, Kris Snow on dobro, and Colter Starrett on guitjo. Sain and Heavy T were previously members of underground sensation, So Far Gone in the late 1990s.
Jason Sain and the Foolhearted have performed their high-energy live show & comedy all over Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Their sound is both of the present and harkens back to yesteryear, meshing the Western swing of the Texas Panhandle, and the gospel and bluegrass of the band's Ozark Mountain home. What emerges from the mix keeps folks on the dance floor and has gathered rave reviews for the music's originality, style, and energy. Every Jason Sain and the Foolhearted experience is memorable, while each is different from the last.
