“What’s funny is that I actually think of myself as more of a translator than a songwriter. The music genuinely speaks for itself, and it is just my job to make sure that it’s understood purely. Not to get too deep or anything (she laughs)”

She wraps up her sentence by saying,

“In all honestly, my only hope is that when people hear my music, they hear an artist who is truly dedicated to her craft, dedicated to her purpose and is unafraid to be vulnerable and connect with the people around her, because that is genuinely why I do it.”
