Energy and playfullness are two significant features in the musical cosmology of Lashing Patsy. The band's original music has several influences and their sound can to be said to lie somewhere in the boundary between the psychedelia of the late 60's and the Art Rock of the 70's. One can clearly discern the influence of the early Roxy Music as well as Velvet Underground and Pink Floyd (Syd Barrett).
Lashing Patsy was initiated in Malmö in the winter 2003.
