David J. Sutton resides in New York playing mostly for personal pleasure, charity events & basically where ever there is a piano. I don't care where I am. I really enjoy playing whoever, whenever. I work as a retailer during the day and a solo performer at night. I composed/produce all of my music using my Yamaha keyboard. My dreams would be to have my music scored and played by a real orchestra. My main instrument is piano, but I also plays guitar, bass, violin and soon to be drums as well. My main influences are everyone from Yanni to Metallica. I basically like anything that takes true talent to play. Music first, words come second to me. I am currently working on a solo career or even possibly joining someone soon. Keep checking from time to time for update. I do have a link where you can purchase a CD. To purchase a cd please go to: www.artistlaunch.com/davidjsutton and there will be a link where you can pick up a Cd. A portion of all Cd sales goes towards a local charity.

Similar Artists

Yanni, Enya, Kitaro, David Lanz and Suzanne Ciani who has a new cd coming out soon

Everyone from Metallica to Pink Floyd to Yanni. Basically anyone who is really talented in playing an instrument and has something different, unique, and thought out to bring to the table.
Bio

Music runs in my family. At a very young age, I was able to hear a song on the radio and figure out the melody with out ever taking a lesson. I had a gift inside me that was urging to come out, but was not able to until the age of 15. My parents never thought I would follow through with piano lessons, regardless of my ear for music or constantly turning my desk into a drum set. I had it all worked out, until they constantly yelled at me to stop making all that racquet. As I got older, i kept asking for bigger and better keyboards for my birthday. By the time I was 15, i had a 76 key keyboard. So One day, I got sick of it. I really wanted piano lessons, so I called up cousin and asked him who his piano teacher was. I called her up and asked her if she could teach me on my dinky keyboard. So said for now yes, so I booked the piano lesson and never told my mom or dad. So she shows up at the door and my mom answers the door. She was shocked that I made the lesson but finally agreed to let me have them. Well 2 years later, I had composed my very first song. I just kept going from there. They are probably the main reason why I am so determined to play and why I have the love for music. May god bless you all. Make love, not war and please sign my guestbook.

HERE ARE SOME REVIEWS I GOT!

""Immediatey infectious melody and good choice of instrumentation catches attention. Absolutely beautiful work. The slowly developing melodic content never fails to hold attention as it presents clear direction with nice littel surprises and instrumental support along the way. Refreshingly, consistently beautiful and unpretentious; a timeless composition that could be very marketable as film music...Title...Underscore....""

""Very Nice, well done. Your a creator and a good one at that. No b*llshit, your piece was beautiful moving and had a lot of compassion. Nice job!""

""The track is amazing, guitar play together with keyboards and bass line are just perfect. It reminded me of the best prog rock/metal I heard (and I hear a lot of both). The track is complex and well built, a very good soundtrack.""

""Strikes a pleasantly sad mood.""

""yani-like...not my usual music to listen to. Pretty intro. Nice flutes, strings. Nice change when the killer swans come in at 2:05, and again at 3:06 when the lightning kills the killer swans. :)""

""peaceful, almost hypnotic tune. It wraps you in itself and floats you away. I like it, definitely. if you were in a bath with some aromatherapy happening you could probably achieve nirvana listening to this.""

""Nice guitar lead parts, beautiful dramtic twist toward the end in the roger waters style, really cool""
