Crane is trained since the age of four in the art of
classical and jazz music and has spent years playing
the violin, guitar and double bass. Crane begun
working on hip hop and breaks influenced by the sound
of The Neptunes and DJ Krush, while still guided by
the complex harmonies of Jazz greats like Jaco
Pastorius and Stanley Clarke. His instrumental beats
have become a favorite for lyricists at housepartys
and outdoor events throughout the Northwest. Crane's
versatile background allows him to blend genres and
produce fresh beats both heavy and dark, or light and
upbeat with a hint of funk and soul.
