When people think of traditional Scottish Music, they usually imagine the sound of pipes, accordions and fiddles playing reels and soulful laments. While this is still true, it’s not the only music being performed by Scottish musicians today. Now there is the sound of FOUR GOOD MEN, the latest manifestation of Celtic Song.
What makes FOUR GOOD MEN unique is their personnel. All are original members of major Scottish bands who enjoyed huge success in the 80’s and 90’s. Derek Forbes: Simple Minds, Ian Donaldson: H2O, Bruce Watson: Big Country, and Mick MacNeil, also from Simple Minds. Between them, they’ve had almost 60 top 40 singles and 20 top 10 albums – 8 of them number 1’s. Total records sold to date – 40,000,000.
They have come together as Four Good Men to perform The Hits. ‘Don’t You Forget About Me’ (#1 in the US), ‘In A Big Country’, ‘Dream To Sleep’, ‘Waterfront, Chance’, and many more. Songs that became the soundtrack for the lives of a generation, worldwide. FOUR GOOD MEN are another chance to celebrate those unforgettable times all over again.
