The Day I Snapped formed in late 2000 and played their first show in 2001 opening for King Prawn. Since then they have fine-tuned their sound and have played with bands such as Pretty Girls Make Graves, Billy Talent, The Lawrence Arms, Hot Water Music and The Offspring. Over the few years the band has been together, various recordings have been made, all produced and engineered by Chris Gordon (bass player and ex member of world renowned Baby Chaos). These recordings helped the band develop and they were rewarded with airplay on Radio 1, including a live session on the Vic and Gill show in 2003 and also given the opportunity to take part in some great shows, including the T In The Park Festival. They have just recently signed to Lockjaw Records for the release of their acclaimed debut album due out later this year.
