Originally signed by Rondor/Almo (Herb Alpert's label) Fjaere Nilssen left the majors, united with friends and started LITTLE FRIEND with Frankie Mooney. The fourth album, which will be released April 23, 2006, bridges the gap between folk and groove and starts the journey into celtic and american folk music, with groovy beats, of course. LITTlE FRIEND will be touring with folk friends Country stars Fur Dixon and Steve Werner and banjo virtuoso Cliff Wagner this summer playing to neo hippies with a bent for country, old-time, celtic and old fashioned trancey guitar solos neil young style.
