Henry has been writing songs for the last year and calling them country music, then he bumped into the Rokhsan, James and Lloyd and they made his songs beautiful. Henry realised it was time to call them something else and hit the road.
Henry served a 3 year Indie apprenticeship with 'Haircut Records' in 'Carpet Ministry' and it was at their Christmas show at the Rhythm Factory in December 2005 that he met James who impressed him with his knowledge of the Scottish Indie scene and asked him what he was doing for the rest of his life.
James was a bit of catch; Henry had seen him before once at the Astoria when he was holding down the bass end of 'The Dancing Bears' and had always known he was the one.
Ed moved into Henry's basement in September and brought his drums. Ed played the drums a lot, and after three years with Readings premier street punk talent 'Lower Case j' he played the drums fast.
Practices for Little Things commenced on New Years day and it was great, then Rokhsan came to sing her harmonies and it was magical.
Rokhsan knew Henry from way back and been cutting his hair since primary school. Although not overly comfortable with this arrangement Henry knew he needed her in his band.
Rehearsals were intense as these new (and old) friends set to learning Henry's songs, and there are plenty of them.
And now they are ready, armed with a back catalogue of songs ranging from social confusion to animal songs for children. Little Things are ready to play and they couldn't be more excited about it.
