Jessica Parncutt, Melbourne-born singer, songwriter and pianist was raised among a family with a vast musical legacy. Since just age 5, she has received an extensive and thorough education in classical voice, piano and music theory to university level. She describes an extensive list of influences such as Sarah McLaughlin, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones and Billy Joel with her sweet yet bluesy piano-based tunes. Since 2003, Jessica has spent many months in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta writing, recording and developing her unique style which subsequently made her a finalist in the 2004 BMI Songwriting competition against a stiff international competition of many established writers. She is now working solidly in the studio in Melbourne on her collection of timeless tunes for her debut album, capturing her unique soulful vocals and unforgettable melodies for all to enjoy.
