Bunker Soldier is Timothy Tyran, a one man, independent electronic artist and producer. Established in 1994 in Dallas as a rave performer, he has continually released albums since 1996 on his own label “Neo Cultural Front Records.”
“The Debris Field” is his 4th CD release. The official release date is March 28th, 2006.
Previous CD’s: 1996 “Quite A Dilemma”, 1999 “Innuendo”, 2004 “Triple Threat”.
Bunker Soldier will be on the College Music Journal’s April 17th, 2006 Magazine Sampler CD. “Darkness Falls” will be the spotlighted track.
CMJ will then be pushing “Close The Door” on its On Air CD to colleges across the U.S. on May 22nd, 2006.
Tyran has proudly achieved an underground following through the years relying heavily on the internet to promote his music worldwide. A Google search on his name will find him on hundreds of pages. He spends hours a day stuffing envelopes and contacting individuals trying to get his music heard. Tom Pacia, part time vocalist and best friend of Tim’s, also spends countless hours as the webmaster for Bunker Soldier. He has been there since day one pushing this project.
Bunker Soldier has performed all over the country including last year’s big show in New York City at Club Rare for the Legends Magazine 150th Issue Party. From Orlando to Buffalo to Corpus Christi, his live shows are intense and energetic.
Tim has decided to go for more of a commercial sound for this CD. As with the previous CDs he has brought in the talents of many friends to help him get his full musical vision to reality. “Darkness Falls” sounds like Green Day meets A Flock of Seagulls. “When All Is Lost” has a great U2 style ending with Hurricane Katrina inspired lyrics. Very uplifting!
“The Debris Field” is a new direction for Bunker Soldier. Hopefully straight to the top!
