To play Christian music has been a life long dream for our band founder, James McAlexander. A good friend of his provided him with lyrics to set to music. Writing the music for those lyrics rekindled James’ smoldering desire to play music. Our band was formed and began playing together shortly after that period. When we performed some of our new songs in a Christian music contest, we received much positive encouragement and an award for best song lyrics. Our band became a family affair when Jim's wife began singing and performing with the band.

Spiritual Journey is a vehicle for us to share our love of God and His music with you. We sing all the songs in praise of God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Whether you are Christian or non-Christian in your beliefs, we ask that you listen to our music with an open heart and an open mind ... enjoy!
