Killjay started out in the summer of 2001 with a group of musicians who originally intended to play music just for fun. But after playing a number of shows in their area they have become a regional sensation that stirs up a crowd in every town they play.
Whether it’s up on the “big stage” opening up for national acts such as Saliva and Michale Graves of The Misfits, or at a home town show in front of their local fans. Killjay promises to deliver a live show that you must experience to understand. “Crowd participation is a must!” states front man Mark Clingan. “We grew up listening to rock bands and going to rock shows and we know you don’t need to go to a rock show without having a good time, so we try to make sure everyone at our shows has fun”. “It’s like a big party!”
With over five years of experience playing live shows, the band has learned to adapt to any situation and feel at home on any stage. Killjay has played on every kind of stage from flat bed trailers at barn parties to the main stage at festivals in front of 5,000 plus screaming fans.
