Jayne has been singing for as long as she can remember. When she was 10 years old her parents entered her in a talent quest and she sung The Unicorn Song but forgot the words half way through and ran off the stage in shame saying never ever again! Soon she started to play guitar by ear and also sung in choir where she learnt some valuable voice training. Jayne began visiting country & western clubs at around the age of 13 and things took off from there. Her brother would sneak her out to parties and she'd play guitar and sing with him. Jayne's brother had an incredible voice and they harmonised together. Every week when Jayne got her pocket money she bought books with words to all the latest songs and then she'd sit down with her guitar and learn her favourites. By seventeen she was singing in cabaret and bars and she won a talent quest singing Leaving On a Jet Plane, from there she was offered gigs in new venues and she sung in folk clubs and played festival dates for many years.

Jayne says she loves to jam with other musicians and especially enjoys singing harmonies and joining in at impromptu musical get-togethers with friends and guitars!

These days Jayne says she doesn't get the chance to sing often, except for local functions, and occasionally with friends who are in a popular band called The Cool Green Capsicums, they play celtic rock, country and a few crazy songs!

Jayne says she has always loved to sing and at difficult times in her life music has been her saving grace and she has drawn much strength from expressing her troubles in song. Quote: 'I sing so much from the heart, you see I was a battered wife for over five years and singing was the one thing that helped me to get the pain out. I know how the dogs feel being kicked around. I was one of the lucky ones that got out.

Jayne is a volunteer for her local SPCA shelter in New Zealand.

casie Hi! I'm in the process of trying to find a good credit card to rebuild my credit, and I was wondering is there one with no monthly fees. My credit is not great but not bad. I have found one site but I am not sure whether those credit cards suit me or not.

catina Having a good credit history is crucial for anyone desiring a credit. Your credit history is based on credit reports that are meant to provide information on the borrower's reliability. I have good credit history and I was approved for a great credit card
