Born Rodger Hall Reed II, this L.A. native always considered himself a natural musician. He started playing bass and piano at 12, and later added guitar and drums. At 15 he played bass and sang lead in his first band, by 17 he was writing and recording his own songs.

Influenced by Gospel, Soul, Blues, and Rock, Reed! has set about blending those styles into his own vision of the music he hears in his head, crafting timeless songs reflective of the world he sees and imagines.
