Cliff got his first guitar at the ripe old age of 12. It was a Sears Silvertone acoustic and quite a piece it was. About a year later his Dad hooked him up with a local guitar guru for a few lessons. Unfortunately, Cliff's patience for learning to read music faded quickly, and his teacher decided it best to end the endeavor. He progressed on his own for the next 3 years playing along with LP's by Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Eric Clapton, and some others.
Cliff played for the next 20 years or so with various bands in the Harrisburg Pennsylvania area. Today, he writes & records in his home studio and has developed a style which is a melting pot of influences. From ZZ Top to Gary Moore...and a bunch in between.
Hope you enjoy your visit! If so, drop Cliff a note & let him know
