Lash 78 Promo - Joker and the Thief

Lash78 live at Ocean Grove Hotel

Lash78 combines the vocal talents of sisters Lauren and Sheridan Harvey. Inspired by a wide range of artists and genres, their acoustic shows attract people of all ages, always providing a captivating, fun and energetic atmosphere, with knockout harmonies and a sound that keeps them coming back for more.

With the support of some of Australia’s finest musicians the girls have performed on some amazing shows, including Lee Kernaghan’s “Spirit of The Bush” Drought relief show in Horsham and twice on his Bicentennial Park Tamworth shows. Along with various other supports for Wayne Jury & Bob Spencer (The Angels), Adam Brand, The McClymonts and many more.

In late 2008 Lauren joined the cast of Billy Elliot the Musical taking on the role of “Debbie” for the shows Melbourne run. Which played to near full houses for the duration of its 2009 season. During this time Sheridan kept busy writing new tracks and also performed a heap of shows around the Country. In January she opened for the Noll Brothers at all of their Tamworth shows. Was a finalist in the Australian Busking Championships in Brisbane. Then during the 2009 Melbourne International Comedy festival, Sheridan was invited to perform as a guest of Stephen K Amos at one of his shows at The Comedy Theatre. Comedian and television host, Adam Hills watched the performance and was so impressed by her, that she was given the opportunity to showcase her musical talent, as a guest artist on an episode of Spicks and Specks on the ABC which aired in September.
Dave Hughes also heard Sheridan perform and invited her to sing live via phone link on Nova 100fm on the Hughesy and Kate show.

2009 also saw the release of Dying Breed in Australia and around the world. In cinemas and later on DVD. In this Aussie film Sheridan shares the screen with fellow Australians Leigh Whannel (SAW), Nathan Phillips (WOLF CREEK) and Mirrah Foulkes (All Saints)

The girls live and breathe music and have already notched up some cool awards and shows, with their eye on the big ones to come. But when not on stage you’ll find them hanging out with all the other kids.
