The name of the band is maybe the best reference to their music: it's rough-cut, garage-sounded indie rock with female vocals. The music varies in moods from distant and cold to intensive and dark. Occasional popish influences aside, and the band’s music refers to early 90’s indie and alternative.

Murmansk comes from Northern Europe, Helsinki, Finland.
