The band Panta Rei was formed in 1996 in Orava village called Mutne when Sasa (guitar), Pista (guitar), Chrisik (bass) and Roman (drums) got together. The main idea was to play simple rock music influenced by grunge and punk-rock. The first demo called “Demolition” had the spirit of melodic rock. Although one can feel from the demo album that the band was little uncomfortable, there were some songs worth to listen. In spring 98 the album “Cas bezi” (EMGE Rec.) was recorded and the band members formed their punk vision of the world.

In winter 2000 the band recorded new album called ”Vydrd”. It was recorded in Benadovo with the help of Miso and Tomas Triebel. Since that time, these two guys produced all the band records. We (the band) are very thankful them for that. The fruit of our cooperation with them were further deeds such as the album “Smrst” (February 2003) and “Yeblington” (January 2004). Also a video was recorded to song “Paranoja”.

By the end of 2006 the band drummer changed. Roman, the former band drummer was overextended by work and left the band. Marek from Wawrecka became the new drummer. At the beginning of 2007 we recorded a new promo CD which got us closer to hc/punk. And actually that is the presence.
