She's been called Queen of Euro-Dance and Goddess of Groove. Kosky's eclectic style mixes old skool and new wave to create a unique sound. Having been heard on 3 continents, she has definite world appeal.
Kosky hails from Ohio. She learned to play piano and clarinet at a young age and went on to become a proud member of the Groveport-Madison High School, Marching Cruisers. During her years in High School, her love and knowledge of music theory grew. By the time she graduated, she had learned to play nearly every instrument in the music department. Kosky took a detour from music until the 80's when she began to write her own music again.
Kosky now lives in the land of long winters and midnight sun, Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. She released her first CD "Digital Traffic Jam" in November 2001 independently. In February of 2002, her music hit the radio stations locally, and made it's way into the club scene in Canada and Australia. In August 2002, her 2nd CD "The Manumission of Kosky" traveled south of the border to the United States and was Debut in The Lizard Lounge. 2007 Plasma Infusion is released world wide. Feb 2008 Electrify is added to the TEA Volume 11 Compilation CD. Love That Beat is scheduled for the TEA Volume 13 Compilation CD due out Feb 2009. Always working, she is currently working on a 4th CD set to release next year.
What more is there to say other than, Kosky is Kosky.
