We play a unique blend of rock, grunge, and metal. Through a combination of several different and contrasting music styles, such as melodic acoustic guitar riffs to a heavier rock sound, we have a style that’s all our own. Our music is very distinctive sounding due to the blending mixture of many styles flowing in sync with each other. Often times we balance our soft fluent verses with intense distorted choruses. Our music creates the feeling and desire of our lyrics.
Our lyrics are passionate and touch a wide variety of different issues both personal and easy to relate to. These lyrics are emphasized by Manifest Hearts’ two vocalists, Kevin and Jason, who harmonize in a well-balanced mixture of their vocal ranges. Kevin, who has been singing for 9 years, is defined by his low tenor voice but also can vary anywhere from a deep, raspy growl to a higher pitched wailing. Jason, who has been singing an equal amount of time, is the more energetic and forceful voice of Manifest Hearts. His vocals bring out the intensity in many of Manifest Hearts’ songs. The two voices, while diverse, complement and harmonize well with each other.
The music itself is made up by Freddy’s distinct guitar riffs, Chris’s heavy drum beats, Kevin’s harmonizing keyboard, and Jason’s solid bass riffs. This Combination is what Manifest Hearts is made of.
