I'm a self-taught, left-handed guy of French and Cree heritage. Have done innovations on America's 4-string lap dulcimer-----turning it into a 20-string acoustic/electric beast dubbed the "fire-harp". Have also pushed the evolution of the wash-tub bass. Instead of a metal wash-tub I use a 22" bass-drum; instead of a clothesline I use a custom-made Celtic Harp string etc. As it's no longer a wash-tub bass, I call it the "street-bass". In addition I've managed to assemble a bunch of odd drums into a kit I call the "minute drums" (because they set up & break down in minutes.) complete with a foot-tamborine and an 8" inch maple snare-drum. I sing or screetch, play a variety of flutes, fool around with a 16-string Swedish fiddle-harp, write & record my own songs and mess with an old keyboard.
