Michele Mercure is a musician, composer, songwriter, and sound engineer. Her work is varied and extensive. As an electronic musician she has performed live at the Smithsonian Institute and was reviewed by Eurock Magazine as ""America's Premiere female synthesist"". As a songwriter Michele has released several albums and CD's and throughout the late 1990's was the frontwoman for the alternative band Like Houdini. Yet musically, Michele is perhaps best known for her film, television, and theater scoring. Michele's television scores range from famous MTV station ID's to cartoon show openings. She has also scored dance performances which have played in such differing locales as Wisconsin and Australia. Michele has scored two feature films to date, Shades of Black and Christmas Dinner.
