Jim Cook was born in Inez Kentucky, After working as a deputy sheriff he began his music career, touring the eastern seaboard. aylor McKinnon joined the Air Force in 1952, a highschool dropout, he attended college while in the AIr Force and retired after 30 years service as a Major. Afterwards he taught Aeronautics at San Bernardino VAlley College for 20 Years.
