Raw.
The rhythm of all people.
We adhere to no genre.
“Electronic is at its best when it’s rough, impulsive and live. There’s not much organic stuff out there anymore, too much production and mouse-clicking, it’s soulless. This is where we’re at, heavy and raw.” MgX
Heavily influenced by the 90s, MigalinX are a jittering madhouse of keyboards & pianos, machines, bass guitar, computers and sneering men.
In 2007, after years of tinkering with machines in a very dark room, Jeffrey Aird turned to schoolmates Simon Dunne (bass) and Hugh Fowler (keys) to add bulk to his beats, riffs and vocals.
MigalinX became.
They’ve risen quickly.
The last 12 months has seen MigalinX play HWCH 2007, The Pod, The Hub, The Globe and even the gritty but great McGruders.
The live show is savage, like a starving bear.
MigalinX hit the listener like a train.
Let yourself get hit.
