I'm a file manipulator, nothing more.... Miles Davis once said in an interview I saw on a DVD that he liked that "street sound". I think I know what he meant. There was a "roughness" in the sound that he found most interesting. I like that "dirty" sound. Sometimes loud, obnoxious, monotonous and chaotic with heavy beats. To each his own. Let me wallow in the mud pit of muzak, if you will... www.drewk.com

Up There
Hammer II (HAMMER Remix 2) Went back and revisited "Hammer" using some old/new loops.
Where Do You Want to be? Featuring Ursa Major. I was playing around with some loops I've used in the past and a few new ones. The voice sample from Ursa I had used more extensively in "Jungle Fever". I was having a bit of fun on this one. Ursa, Holger Czukay & myself where involved in a project together called "21 Century". See details at: www.czukay.de

9/12/2023 5:46:43 AM Laser cutting machines are like modern-day wizards, transforming raw materials into precision-crafted marvels with the flick of a laser beam. I prefer you to check https://www.haiweimachinery.com/product-category/coil-fed-laser-cutting-machine/ and gain skills to manage your machine. Their ability to cut and engrave intricate designs on various materials is nothing short of mesmerizing, making them indispensable tools for industries ranging from manufacturing to artistry. Truly, lasers are the magic wands of the industrial world.
8/14/2010 9:28:03 PM "Tribal Warfare" will be mutating into something else with collaboration from Holger Czukay & Ursa Major. Versions of the piece have been coming and I think Holger has it where he wants it now. Think will be called "Killing Machine", but not sure as yet. We shall see how this gets released....

5/18/2006 4:17:09 AM With the collapse of Ampcast.com and disappointment of the quality of CDs at Cafepress.com, hopefully I've found a new outlet for my manipulated noise here at IAC. If you watch the little promo in the links area for "Buzzed Up", forget about the bit for Cafepress in the flash piece. This was an old bit I did with the idea of selling the CD on Cafepress which didn't pan out well. Someday maybe I'll get around to editing that bit!
