Inland Years is the lo-fi indie rock project of Ryan Daniels, a songwriter and home recorder crafting warm, melodic songs on cassette tape. Drawing comparisons to Elliott Smith, Grandaddy, Tony Molina, and 60s pop artists like The Byrds and Billy Nicholls, Inland Years blends fuzzy folk, noise pop, and jangly psych rock with intimate lyrics and vintage textures.


Inland Years’ music is often described as a cross between DIY 90s indie rock and vintage 60s baroque pop, with tape hiss, layered guitars, and lyrical fragments that feel like recovered memories.
