Catherine And The Owl are an Exeter-based band comprising of six members, each of which play a multitude of different instruments - ranging from guitars, clarinet, mandolins, cello, keyboards, violins - all the way down to theremins, djembe, glockenspiels and flute. Much of their electronic backline is home-built, including a whole host of deharmonisers and de-tune effects.

Formed in 2007, they have just recently recorded their debut EP 'I' - the launch of which saw them selected as band of the week on local radio station, Exeter F.M. They are currently unsigned and are adding to their resume of gigs, playing throughout the Southwest. So far supporting acts such as: Enon, Ill Ease and Nigel Birch And The Flea Pit Orchestra.
