Gelon was born in North Carolina and grew up in New Orleans and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Influences range from 50's R&B and R&R, Zydeco, Delta and Chicago Blues, the 60's/70's Brit Invasion, to composers from Gesualdo to Boulez. Live shows and house concerts feature covers from the 50's to now, and original songs, including the 10 from Beggars & Thieves, released in 2011.

Hi there - nice to see you here. I like the lyrics of your song inspired by Syria very much. I have also written a song in response to the news in Syria and the middle east in general - it's called Sing A Song Of All Our Nations and I'll post it up when I've recorded it properly.
