You have to hear it to understand.
...honest, heavy, guitar driven rawk, with unique dynamic female vocals layering the fringes…
Chicago was once a booming music scene, outpouring great talent and being known for it. Today, most Chicago venues are still booking the same old, same old. They call it politics, we call it bullshit. Chicago needs a change.
This four piece is made up of; veteran, John Cline (guitar), formerly of cased (tiberious records) and Big Wow (indie), Sean Singleton (bass), hailing from the Phoenix music scene and Carla Werner (vocals), who lends an unexpected and interesting vocal style to this project. Finally, after an exhausting search to fill the missing body behind the drums, they found Canadian, Jeff Dale. After spending time in L. A. and Boston, he finally made his way to Chicago.
The overall sound is a culmination of their very individual and distinct musical influences, but possibly even greater differences. And yet, jetless seems to be a meeting of the minds that bind this project together. You can bet they will leave the crowd wondering what will be around the next corner. Eyes wide, mouth open and guaranteed to be surprised!
One song, one gig, one city at a time….jetless first album, first tastes will be ready by summer 2006.
