Marcel Caroto is a dynamic singer-songwriter-actor with a distinctively soulful voice. His music is an artistic blend of youthful, funky - fresh tunes, from pop and R&B to dance music, all with a tinge of enchanting contemporary sounds.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1988, Marcel Caroto was a singing sensation from the early age of 4. By the time he was 16 he began composing songs on the piano, influenced by all the new-age Pop, R&B & dance music setting the trends of the youth. When he was just 17 he recorded his first single, Baby Do Me Right, which was to pave the way for his musical career.
He met singer/songwriter, Xavier Saer, an aspiring Latin-enthused artist, who began vocally training Marcel & co-songwriting with him.
