Drive by Clouds is a Dutch Indie/Americana band.

Micha Winter (drummer, previously Charmin' Quarks).

Drive by Clouds is easiest described as a folkmachine.
There is a clear traditional Blues/Americana-feel present in the music of Drive by Clouds supported by the dark vocals of Jean Midde. However this is combined with an uptempo swing, and in part through the rich indie-rock history of the musicians, this trio is not only pleasant to listen to but also surprising in all the right corners. Add to that they purposely don't use a bassguitar Drive by Clouds is able to present a unique sound on stage.

Two years they worked hard to put together a compact set of folk songs that keep rocking without the need to pump up the amps to 11.
In May 2011 they recorded the first EP "Devils in my Soul", now available online on facebook.com/drivebyclouds or myspace.com/drivebyclouds.

Several influences of DBC: Jason Molina (Songs:Ohia), Will Johnson (Centro-Matic), David Bazan (Pedro the Lion) and Stephen Malkmus (Pavement), Band of Horses, The New Year.
