She started playing drums at the age of 4 and piano at the age of 6. At 18 she started to perform with several local jazz bands.
In 1998 she won a national singing contest.
In 2002 she worked for a national tv show.
In 2003 she collaborated with a famous italian producer, Guido Guglielminetti.
In 2003 she attended the Berklee clinics during the famous Umbria Jazz festival. She was chosen to perform onstage with her professors and Bobby McFerrin.
In 2004 she started composing and recording her own music.
In 2005 her debut album ( self-produced and self-financed) has been released and it's available on wwww.cdbaby.com/sarahmicol
