Born in 1996 on the Southside of Chicago, Jaquez R. Hailey “Jayy Queezy” is hip hop rap artist that brings an honest and genuine sound to the music industry. He started by working with good friends and members of Arrogant Fame Productions, Travie, Kurtiss Berry and Chief Marco, they went to record at local engineer D. P. Thurty’s studio, he then encouraged them to take their music more seriously because of their unique sound. Jayy Queezy says this about his sound, “The music is my life story, how I feel about my life now and how I would like my life to be. What I been through already and what I would like to go through in the future. That is why my expressions can't be judged unless you know the background behind them.”
In June 2015 Jayy Queezy kicked off his career when he released his first video and song “I’m Just Livin Life the Remix” featuring Donny Konz. Touch of Daz quote “Chicago rappers, Jayy Queezy and Donny Konz, pair up for Jayy’s remix to "I’m Just Livin Life", this is a song that you can turn up to wherever you are, whether you are in the club, a house party, the car or house, you won’t stop repeating the catchy chorus after hearing it.

• “Life Ain’t No Game” on Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes Presents: #Nextup Vol. 314
• “Real Nigga” Feat. Polo Gambino was placed on Europe’s Vittek mixtape in May 2016 which lead to the single being showcased on 70 radio stations in 20 different countries.
Jayy Queezy was interviewed by Colorado based internet radio station Rhythm Rave Radio in August 2015 and have multiple songs consistently being played on their station like “Makin Noize” Feat. Travie. Also in August Jayy Queezy’s hard core rap “Life Ain’t No Game” placed number one in Daily Hip Hop Jamz song contest and the grand prize was a blog interview.
Jayy Queezy appeared on the remix track “Winning” with recording artists Donny Konz, Ill Phill and major recording artist Katie Got Bandz in September, 2015 which is available for listening on YouTube, Soundcloud, Reverbnation and more.
Jayy Queezy’s next video release, R&B song “Rider” also debuted in September and was showcased on Chicago Access Network Television (CANTV) every Wednesday during commercial breaks for the network’s popular teen show “Juke a Chicago Story” from December 2015 until February 2016 on Channel 25.” The music video also won 2nd place on the UK based website Beat100 as a Music Chart Winner. Numerous Gold A and R awards were given to the song as well because of the quality production and lyrics.
Jayy Queezy performed at IndieFest 2K16 in Blue Island, Illinois February 2016, the event was hosted by Yung LA. He performed a second time for the same event and location in March 2016, the host was Seandale, DJ and Radio Personality of Raw Radio on Chicago’s Power 92.3 FM. Also in February his songs “I Need Me a Check” Feat. Chief Marco, “In Love with the Money” Feat. Immigrantz, and “Supernova” Feat. Polo Gambino was put on rotation on internet radio station Indie Castle Radio, which is based in North Carolina.
Jayy Queezy performed his hit song “Real Nigga” with Polo Gambino at All Star Talent Network in Chicago, April 2016 and in May 2016, the song was featured in an article in New York’s Pop Magazine as “One of the artists with a track on the verge.” The song was also in rotation on Major Radio stations Kiss Intl 107.7 FM in Hawaii and Radio Cardiff in the United Kingdom. “Real Nigga” and “I Doubt It” Feat. Kardier was rotated on Hot 94.7 in Houston and 107.1 The Beat in Philadelphia for a few months ending in July 2016. In addition, Jayy Queezy’s had a live video interview with New York City’s own Lex B, which was recorded in Chicago, April 2016 which will be available for viewing July 2016 as Episode 2 Season 3 of the web series.
In July 2016, Queezy went to Atlanta to meet with Epic Records Executive Aaron Reid, and was setup By MTC Consulting. Jayy Queezy appeared on the remix track “Hunnid Bands” with recording artist Donny Konz, Ill Phill and Major Recording Artist Famous Dex which was posted on popular Chicago blog “Rap Catch Up” and is available for listening on YouTube, Soundcloud, Reverbnation and more. Also during the month of July Jayy Queezy was ranked #1 artist of the Rap genre in Chicago on the Reverbnation charts. He also opened and closed at Refuge Lounge July 8th in Chicago. Also, during this month Jayy Queezy has accumulated over 100,000 streams on his songs on the Spinrilla platform.
Jayy Queezy performed at the Def Jam Showcase at Harold Washington Cultural Center in August, the event was hosted by Randy Whitehead.
In September, he had an interview with NBC’s Cali Best Radio Show hosted by Lady I.M.PRE$$, he also had a radio interview with The Cafe Con Leche Radio Show hosted by Aaron Ruiz. During this month, he also was a featured artist on the upcoming Chicago Access Network Television (CANTV) program Underground 321/Beats to Rhyme on Channel 19 and premiered on television during this month.
Jayy Queezy’s debut mixtape “Revival of Hip-Hop” features RGF/SCIFI Productions Kardier, Donny Konz, Ill Phill, Immigrantz,Katie Got Bandz & Famous Dex . In addition to upcoming Chicago artists Immigrantz, Polo Gambino and the members of Arrogant Fame Productions Travie and Chief Marco. The mixtape dropped in November 2016 on Spinrilla, hosted by DJ Fiestaboii.
Jayy Queezy has upcoming singles with Gucci Mane & Chief Marco called “Legit”, Future called “Rap Hustling” and the Legendary Snoop Dogg called “Good Weed” each dropping periodically over the months of December 2016 through Febuary 2017.
