Jimmy T.Harris performs a soulful, organic blend of roots based country, blues, folk, and rock.
Where Are You Now This is a straight-up, double bourbon, country AND western ( both kinds ;) ) tune in the mold of Haggard, Jones, Travis, Jackson.
Mary's Song In the Merle Travis tradition, a song about...well...a woman.
Reassurance A love song... Special thanks to Jan Smith for the chance to sing together.
Love of Mine This is an older tune I dug out of the vault that I sang at my sister's wedding.
Suburban Blues (acoustic version) A rainy weekend late night on the outskirts of town. One voice, one guitar, three mics, one dog.
I've Had the Blues for Years In the tradition of Ray and Willie... A previous #1 on the IAC Underground 40!
I Am The Road Well, this little tune came out late one night on the way back from a gig. It's a classic rock style "road" song...Zep meets Clapton...or som'n. My good friend Nathan Sheppard suggested the flute, in a nod to old Tull. Nathan also put down a mean harp track.
Plastic World This is a very dark and organic piece...for an often dark and very synthetic world.
Crossing Over A song of redemption and an end to travels in the tradition of The Carter Family. Dedicated to John Stuart Stuckman.
Tell Me I'm Wrong This is a classic rock ballad in somewhat of a 70's mode, minus the cheese hopefully. It begins with acoustic guitar on some walking, open chords and builds to a very high intensity. Thematically it is a song about finding the lost passion that has disappeared from a relationship.
Jackie's Blues A little ballad/story tune about not quitting on life.

8/8/2007 11:57:30 AM The place to be Jimmy T and I've Had the Blues for Years. What can I say but, fantastic! Just Jimmy and a very nice sounding Guitar make this Song come alive. Jimmy has a great voice and I really liked how he did this Song. Some day I would like to hear this with a full Band behind it, as it would add a whole different view to the number. But either way head over and stream his songs, here's to ya Jimmy! Very nice!
