Marjo, a singer / songwriter form Covelo, California, has been writing and performing her original music for many years: an “Americana” mix of mood and style- swinging between latin grooves and pensive folk songs, from dusty road romps to thoughtful commentaries on what’s going on “out there” – from gentle healing mantras to bluesy rockin’ in-your-face—wake-up & smell the coffee!
Marjo and her husband Morten Jensen ( a native Dane) enjoy performing as an acoustic duo. They toured the country of Denmark (Summer of 2005) and frequently play in their local town of Covelo and around Mendocino County. Marjo sings all her own material and Morten infuses the steady rhythms with his own unique and dynamic guitar style!
