Jones first hit the charts in 1955 with “Why, Baby, Why.” He celebrated his 51st Anniversary as a recording artist in 2005 with the release of GEORGE JONES :HITS I MISSED…And One I Didn’t.
Jones has won two Grammys – separated by 18 years. The first, in 1981 for his performance of “He Stopped Loving Her Today” and the second, in 1999, for his performance of “Choices.
