John was born and raised in the heart of the lowcountry, Charleston, South Carolina. Much of his free time is spent fishing the abundant waters and hiking the beautiful coastal islands, but when the surf is up, you can find him in the water. "There is an energy in the ebb and flow of the dialy tides that speaks to the soul" , John admits.
He attended college on a music/wrestling scholarship. His musical talent led him to study vocal performance. At the age of 24, he picked up the guitar and dropped out of school to follow his passion for performing. John's music has since taken him throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
