Ignify are a Four-piece Alternative Rock, Post-Grunge band from San Mateo, Isabela. The band was officially formed in the summer of 2004 and covered songs from the early albums of "Incubus", "Lostprophets", "Tool", and other OPM bands. It took them 3 band names such as "Inztynx", "Graz-Soda" and "6lack 9ulaman" or "69" before picking the right one which was derived from their lead singer's two volume dictionary. Like other bands, they also did some covers but they rather prefer to write songs just to nourish their creative side aside from being determined to do such thing. They made their 1st UP Fair appearence in February 13, 2006 but never played again since then. In the summer of 2006 after releasing their 1st EP called "Imbate", Jhem Infante left the band after missing several gigs and was immediately replaced by their touring drummer, Bryan Carbonel, who was playing for the band "PAMAKALA" after being kicked-out by the said band. Since then they never looked back and continued to join gigs aroung metro manila until they decided to shoot a music video for their song "Imbate" and later went to the studio to record their 2nd EP "The Light That Blinds" which was released in July 7, 2007 via gigs around Metro Manila and the Province of Isabela but the impact wasn't that big as they were expecting. Months after the said release they are on the planning phase for the pre-production of their full-length album which will be release this 2010.
